Busy, happy day off

Linda's vintage hamper, bursting with embroidery pieces came out in the spring sunshine. Stuffed to the brim with leftovers that look good enough to eat...finally she's made a start on this much discussed heirloom quilt with some sound advice from Beryl and Sandra.

I started this enormous project a few months ago, then just got too busy at Jolie and at home with the inevitable lead up to Christmas. I tucked it away in my fabulous vintage hamper (shall feature later) and have just 'revisited' again with gusto!! I particularly like this chevron lacy square which is actually easier that it looks.
