... at 4pm today, after digging the garden. Tea for two in gorgeous Georgian style 'silver' teapot, £29.95, now available at Jolie. Spring is most definitely here, so I thought we'd use the pretty cups and saucers with pink and yellow primulas.
The latest hand embroidered linen knitting bag. The linen used for this bag is an unusual colour - a light taupe/beige, with stunning embroidery in pinks, purples and greens and a wonderful green vintage button. £69.95.
Our kids are the same age (11), but oh so different. Libby (Linda's youngest) had a lovely room makeover over the Easter holidays, a French manicure and her ears pierced.
Girls will be girls.
Don't be shocked - you are on the right blog! Edward and Oliver (Dany's youngest) made a dugout in the vegetable garden, sigh, and I had my arm twisted to visit an army surplus shop on my day off.
and don't forget to take your yarn with you. Rowan's hand knit cotton in shades of violet and green are truly stunning. Our Donna loves the names, here goes; aubergine, delphinium, celery, gooseberry and pesto. Good enough to eat.
Mmmm, Mulberry Silk by Louisa Harding...very lovely and excellent value @£7.95 per 50g ball with 124m 100% silk...yummy stuff indeed! Louisa has also recently published two beautiful books with some great pattherns to try including a pretty lace wrap which uses just three balls.
Birthday wishes to Deb on her big birthday today. She arrived in style at Knit and Chat this morning in Mabel, the MORRIS traveller, a present and a half from Darren and Grace.
Of course, Mabel needs a blanket..... how about baby cashmerino in great vintage colours? To go with Mabel's superb bodywork and Deb's lovely dress. Roll on with the picnic season. Can we come too?
Love this! Crochet record player from Anne-Clair Petit's new crocheted toy range for 2010. You can only play one song though - and it has to be 'My Way' - from the little musical box hidden inside.
We gathered all the bits on a walk this morning before the rain came....so what else was there to do on a rainy afternoon but be a little creative!!
Mossy green bunnies brought back from Cologne trip.....a bit weird my lot think.....but we all love the lemony vintage chicks bought from Caroline Zoob at The Country Living Fair.
